Santa Neale Bacon is a Santa based in Penticton BC Canada. He has been an actor, a magician, a ventriloquist and a Santa for many years. He retired to Penticton from full time performing, and is now focused on being a Santa for Seniors events and for sensory events for children with special needs, especially those on the autism spectrum.
What is a Sensitive Santa? Children on the spectrum can easily get overwhelmed, so there are no bells, no loud HO Ho Ho's, just a big heart full of love for these special kids. Santa Neale asks the organizers of these type of events to lower or turn of the music and no flashing lights.
For senior events, it depends on the facility, but Santa Neale can walk around at the Christmas dinner, or the facility can set up a photo shoot like at the mall. Santa Neale's favourite part is watching these "senior kids" light up like children when they see Santa.
Santa Neale is also a Santa of faith, and is available for these kind of events for churches where he shares a story called "Santa's Favourite Story" about the first Christmas.
